Through The Lens of EmpathyAs a previous Birth Doula, I have seen a lot. My photography career took off in the midst of my Doula Practice. I was coming in contact with many families who chose me to be by their side during THE MOST vulnerable moment of their lives. Over the course of 9 years, I have developed a level of sensitivity and empathy for others in transformational moments. I bring this level of care to each of my photo sessions. I have served 130 families as a Birth Doula since 2016 & have photographed for over 50 of those families. Family Photography was my jumping off point into other fields of photography…
Photography is my Love Language
I’ve deepened my connection with close friends, families, co-workers, & even complete strangers through photography. It’s an art form that builds a bridge between myself and others. Since becoming a photographer, I have professionally photographed Events, Headshots, Portraits, Brands, Couples, Weddings, Births, Maternity, Newborn, Fresh 48, Families, Boudoir, Empowerment, Elders, Highschool Seniors, Nature, Animals, & Festivals.

My BIGGEST inspiration is LOVE. When my photography journey began with the families that I served as a Birth Doula, I was overcome by all the love I was witnessing in and out of the birth room. It is so easy to capture love in its truest form. It makes sense that “Love” & “Story” are the strongest themes of my photo work presently. I want to capture everyone’s Love Story. The love story between lovers, families, and individuals as they weave the tale of their lives.

Watercoloring is a past, present & future art form I love to explore with. Back in the day when I had no money to my name, I would make holiday cards for everyone that I loved with watercolors. It allows me to slow down & find peace.
I loveCatsLobo, my Devon Rex
I brought Lobo home at the height of the pandemic. Her name came to me in a dream years prior. She is my first & only baby. My fur baby. She has taught me the initial lessons of what it means to be a parent. Thank god!
